One of the most elemental parts of being human is the need to be heard and listened to. Confiding in ourselves and others requires a unique courage. When we feel heard we are better able to understand our own needs and see our own resourcefulness more clearly. As a therapist, I view you as the expert on your own life and experiences, and my top priority is understanding your perspective, understanding how this perspective has shaped your life, and partnering with you in support of your goals. I provide an affirming, trauma-informed and nonjudgmental environment for you to be heard as you process emotions and undertake the important work of self-exploration. I offer a strengths-based approach that is intended to support you as you gain understanding and develop the skills needed to live with greater purpose and ease. I firmly believe that we as humans all deserve this type of support as we make our way along our individual paths.
